Ralph has been keeping his employers compliant with IT and cybersecurity requirements across numerous and diverse regulations such as the Nevada Gaming Control Board, Payment Card Industry, COSO-Integrated Framework, COBIT and ISO 27001 since 2007, and data privacy since 2017. His more than two decade’s professional internal and IT audit and compliance work in the US and the Asia Pacific region provides him with insights not only in enforcing IT and cybersecurity requirements in light of changing regulatory and technical environments, but also in anticipating and dealing with future trends such as data privacy and post-COVID19 compliance changes. In addition, Ralph has earned numerous IT and non-IT certifications such as the CISA and CISM from ISACA, PCI-ISA and PCIP from the PCI-Security Standards Council, CIA and CRMA from the IIA, CFE from ACFE, CPA from PICPA and ITIL. Since 2010, Ralph has regularly spoken in over forty national and international in-person and virtual conferences of major organizations, the latest of which is the ISACA North America conference in New Orleans, Louisiana on May 4 to 6, 2022. Ralph earned his MBA from the Ateneo de Manila University and his bachelor’s degree in business administration, major in accounting, from the University of the Philippines. He is also a licensed property and casualty insurance provider (including cybersecurity) in California, Nevada, Arizona and Texas.
