JP has been in the financial services industry since 1999. He transitioned to this industry after more than fourteen years in management. He held positions as an Investment Associate, and Operations Manager before becoming a Financial Advisor. JP is committed to making a meaningful difference in his clients’ lives by guiding them to make well-informed financial decisions. JP had earned the highly regarded CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) and Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM designations. JP was a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Robert Morris University with a B.S. in business administration. JP is the current Vice President and an alumni of the Filipino Youth Leadership Program, Batch FYLPRO 2014. He was also a former president of the International Society of Filipinos in Finance and Accounting, ISFFA, Chicago Chapter, where they have launched the first ever Chicago Filipino Restaurant Week. He also founded a social entrepreneur business, Ambension Silk Enterprise, in collaboration with Chicagoland Gawad Kalinga supporters to provide livelihood work for weavers and farmers. It is incubated at Gawad Kalinga Enchanted Farm at Angat Bulacan. JP enjoys serving as a volunteer for community projects involving fine arts and fund raising for youth scholarships and promoting diversity. He loves to spend time with family and fishing.
